Say "Treat!" 4 the Love of Pets with Chassey Bayer Photography!

Guess what? Today was the final day of Chassey Bayer Photography's event "4 the Love of Pets." And we are smitten. Not only are we smitten with the stunning photos Chassey produced of our rescue alumni and supporters, but also with Chassey herself!

Chassey's attention to detail and her love for rescue dogs and their stories was immensely incredible. When I went in for my session with my two babies, I was blown away by her focus on making my boys as comfortable as possible with her, behind the camera, and in her studio in general.

And then... when the sneak peeks started pouring in on our Facebook... while, I may have been brought to tears on more than one occasion because our alumni are simply perfect, and lucky for us, Chassey captured their personalities perfectly. Chassey hosted three separate session times for families to schedule Pet Portraits that benefited from the rescue. For the cost of $100 (with $50 from each session being donated to Lucky 7 courtesy of Chassey and an anonymous donor) clients received 10 photos that will last a lifetime.

The event was such a success that Chassey is currently working on how her business an continue supporting the rescue throughout the rest of the year and beyond. Several of Chassey's photos will even be displayed on our website, social media accounts, and on the walls and shelves of L7's brand new office space!

For our volunteers, fosters, and adopters- pets are family. And we know all of our supporters feel the same way. That's why we are so thrilled to have these keepsake memories on display, showing off the beauty behind all the different dogs that have come through our rescue, and their families, and who are continuing to support us long after they have gone home.

I am so excited to get my hands on all of the photos from this event, but for now, enjoy a sneak peak of some of my favorites.
